Live Jazz -Frequently Asked Questions

  • A: I have a quartet project (trombone + guitar + acoustic bass + drums) and a duo project (trombone + guitar) available for performances. I have recorded music with each group that you can see HERE for my quartet album and HERE for my duo album.

  • A: My small groups play modern jazz featuring the trombone as the main voice. My quartet repertoire features music inspired by contemporary composers such as Paul Motion, Mary Halvorson, and others, while my duo project works with classic jazz standards from the American Songbook. Apart from my small groups I am well versed in many styles such as big band, commercial, salsa, and classical.

  • A: I am based in Brooklyn, NY. My groups are available for music performance opportunities in the NYC area as well as in Long Island, Westchester County, or New Jersey. Basically anywhere in the Tri State Area. We are able and willing to travel.

  • A: My Quartet and Duo are available to play for events such as weddings, restaurant/bar gigs, private events, festivals, and school events. If you are wondering if we would be a good fit for your event, send me a message and we can work it out!

  • A: I play tenor trombone and bass trombone, but not at the same time. I can also play on tuba or euphonium.
